2024 Program Assessment Grants fuel excellence and innovation in student success – Today@Wayne
The Office of the Provost has announced the 2024 awardees of WSU Program Assessment Grants, which promote the use of program-level assessment to enhance student learning outcomes and student success. This year, five projects were selected for one-time funding.
“The selected projects reflect Wayne State University’s dedication to student success,” said Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Laurie Lauzon Clabo, Ph.D. “We’re delighted to support this important work, which will benefit current and future students, as well as our distinguished faculty and staff for years to come.”
The grant program, established in 2018, encourages members of Wayne State’s campus community to engage in an effective, sustainable process of continuous program improvement. The selected projects also represent the positive, innovative trajectory of assessment efforts and will improve program assessment by:
“This year’s projects bring broader campus priorities such as artificial intelligence, College to Career, and inclusive excellence into program assessments in exciting and innovative ways. They are inspirational models for other programs looking to enhance their practices,” said Senior Director of Assessment Cathy Barrette, Ph.D.
